Gymnastics has been apart of my life for almost as long as I can remember. I've spent more time in the gym with my teammates and coach than I have with my own parents. In the gym I am constantly forced to face both physical and mental challenges and overcome them in order to succeed. I have and will continue to apply the lessons that I have learned from this sport to my life outside the gym. I owe almost everything to my coach Anthony LaTorella. He has constantly been there for me, and given me the extra push I needed when it feels like I can't keep going. There is no person I would have rather been my coach than him. I also owe a big thanks to my parents for supporting me in gymnastics for the past 12 years. This will mark the end of my gymnastics career, but I will never forget the countless memories I have made with my coach and teammates both in and out of the gym. Next year I plan on moving to LA to attend Loyola Marymount University.
