Gymnastics was always the sport I dreamed of doing, but I didn’t put on a unitard until I was 13. In the 5 years since I’ve started, I’ve come to forget how relatively few years I’ve spent in gymnastics because though it is not the sport I have always done, it is the sport I have felt fit in. It is a sport which has taught me grit, tenacity, and the courage to endeavor. In college, I plan to study philosophy and pursue gymnastics however I am able, in a way which continues what I finally started.
